Co-Creator/Artist/Advertising/Web Designer/Web Developer/Webmaster, The Ceramics Studio (TCS), San Juan Capistrano, California [2011 to present]. TCS offers ceramic classes for the beginning, to the advanced-level student (ages 13 years to adult). Responsible for co-creating the business concept, studio murals, booth design, and all online and print media collateral. I also designed and implemented the website, including the animated mascot.

Founder/Artist/Web Designer/Web Developer/Webmaster/Sales, Waterman Animation, Laguna Niguel, California [1998 to present*]. Waterman Animation was a full-service multimedia arts studio, specializing in 3D art asset production and game development. *Today, it serves as my portfolio site where I welcome part-time projects for charitable causes.
Ceramic Muralist, Inn at the Mission, San Juan Capistrano, California [2020]. Designed and illustrated three images (comprised of 27 9×9” ceramic tiles) depicting early settlers of the San Juan Capistrano area. The custom tiles were hand-made by my partner, Melissa Thomson, who also helped in the glaze-painting and firing process. The ceramic mural will be displayed prominently at the entrance of the hotel, and seen from the street (Ortega Highway and Del Obispo Street)
Co-Founder/Graphic Designer/Sales, WB & Associates, San Francisco, California [1991 to 1995]. WB & Associates was a print-based advertising and graphic design firm. My partner and I successfully built a client list of hundreds [in four short years] by implementing aggressive and innovative marketing strategies that proved to generate new and repeat customers for our client’s businesses.

2012: Cypress College Film Festival (a county-wide competition) – Santa Ana College Student won 1st place for Jesse Zacarias’ student team film “Journey Home”
2012: Vital Link DMA showcase (a county-wide competition) – Jesse Zacarias’ student team’s film “Journey Home” won “Best in Show for All Categories” and “1st Place for Animation”. Student, Ron Hazelwood won 3rd place for 3D image, “Pathways”
2012: U.S. Microsoft Imagine Cup (a nationwide competition) – Chapman University and Santa Ana College student, Andrew Minarik, teamed up to make the game titled, “Children of War” and received 4th place.
2015: IEEE GameSig Showcase – SAC/UCI team placed as a “Top Ten Finalist”
2016: IEEE GameSig Showcase – SAC team, led by Hoa Pham and Miguel Dualan, placed as a “Top Ten Finalist” and won the “People’s Choice” award for their game, “Finite Tower”
2017: IEEE GameSig Showcase – SAC team, led by Hoa Pham and Miguel Dualan, placed as a “Top Ten Finalist”, and won “Game with Most Charm” award, and “Best Engineered Game” award for their game, “Battle of the Bridge”
2018: IEEE GameSig Showcase – SAC team, led by Peter Vegas, placed as a “Top Ten Finalist” and received the “ACM” award for the game, “Residuum”, and Kenneth Ramos’ team placed as “Semi-finalists” for their game, “Scrap RC”
